The Crown Estate Round 3 Offshore Wind Farm Connection Study

Senergy Econnect worked closely with National Grid and was responsible for this investigation into the optimum offshore and onshore electricity transmission network reinforcements required for the connection of up to 25Gw of offshore wind generation as part of the Round 3 leasing process.

Offshore Windfarms, Wave and Tidal Stations

Senergy Econnect carries out electrical design, project engineering and grid connection studies and advice on many offshore windfarms including London Array, North Hoyle, Rhyll Flats, Gunfleet Sands, Kentish Flats, Utgrunden, Arklow Bank and others acting for the owner, developer and/or construction contractor. They are advising a growing number of wave and tidal developers on connection and electrical design.

Validation of Relative Economics of Wind Farm Projects in the Scottish Islands Study

Senergy Econnect was commissioned by the Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR) to perform a validation review of a study on the economics of Scottish wind farms carried out by IPA Consulting.
